My P3 have the steering box leaking. Do you know some kit to rebuild it?

I've searching at Motomobil but didn't find anything...

Hallo Nuno you can get a steering Box, if you need it komplett. Best wishes Conny

If your steering box is leaking in the bottom you just need to a new paper gasket, easy to copy, if you are in the mood to dismantle it[/u!. You have to remove the steering wheel, horn ring and , if I remember well, the 3 bottom screews tha fix the box body to the car structure. Have great care not to loose the ball bearings that exist inside the box, when you open it. Use a tray and do the job in a clean area.
An old trick is to fil the box whit 50% oil, 50% grease ! It is just a trick but enought to avoid problems in the MOT.
I have done this job 2 times and enjoy it - once on a p3 and then in a p5. It is not difficult and helps you to understand what is a steering box. Oh, and pay attention to the horn cable.....
If I find some time I will send some pictures of the one dismantled I have....

if i remember right there is also a radial shaft sealing ring where the shaft for the steering arm exits the steering-gearbox. maybe this is the cause for your leaking...
