What type of oil do you use (Steering Gear and Rear axle)?

hello nuno, i use gearbox-oil for hypoid gears, viscosity SAE 85-90,this is a mineralic oil for rear axle and steering gear. the "hypoid" in the name is important because the rear diff has these hypoid toothed gears which put much stress to the oil. for that reason it is not recommended to use standard gearbox oil SAE80 (which is perfect for the main gear box).
