Sorry for language, but can speak only Czech or English.
I have question about rear lights types.

how many types of rear lights were produced?

?? early:
nr. K13378 - Hella
nr. K13370 - rS?? don´t know name of producer

?? later:
nr. K23333 - rS??
nr. K23340 - Hella

and which country might be this??
nr. K23337 - rS?? ..... never seen on car

Hi honza,

you are exactly right, there are two types of rear lights, and both were made by two manufacturers, RS and Hella.
The first series is used for 1960 to late 1963 cars. It has a strong bead on the outer edge, and requires a big hole in the rear panel of the car. The later series (since 10/1963) have a plain outer shape and have a completely different bulb mount.
The old and new light versions are NOT interchangeable without modifying the rear panel.

RS and HELLA versions are interchangeable if they are of the same series. (There is a slight difference in the center reflex reflector structure, but it is hard to see).

The rear light with the orange indicator glass on your picture is en export version for countries which required this, for example hungary, austria...

Hello Honza,
generally by Ford, there were two types of rear lights, like Klaus g has described it.
In reality, there were 5 or 6 possibilities you can find over the world.
It depents from the laws of the contries.
Your type, I think is coming from Austria.
I have also a type of CZ, which is not original ! You look in :"neuste Bilder" or "Recent pictures"
