Hello Everyone,

I wonder if you guys can help out? I recently bought a 1963 Taunus 17m P3 and as these cars are rare in the UK I need to find some parts.

I need the following:
Front Engine Mounts.
Rear engine/Gear box mounts on cross member.
Front and rear brake shoes.
Rear wheel cylinder rebuild kit. Possibly 1 complete rear wheel cylinder (Brakes sticking on and this is the only one with split seals.)
Full engine service kit, (oil, air, fuel filters, spark plugs etc)

Part number and price:
45370070-3 wheel brake cylinder rear (front disk brake) P3 2,00 27,00 54,00 €
- that is, my P3 has disk brakes in front

you're welcome. best chances with motomobil, because their website can be switched to english language and i know they do foreign business and speak english on the phone. just be sure to order the exact version of the rear brake cylinder, the piston diameter depends on whether you have front disk- or drum brakes, or if you have a turnier (station wagon) version.

btw: is your car a RHD ? i know that RHD versions where built but they were exported mainly to south africa... as far as i know the P3 was not to be exported officially to the UK, because Ford England had somewhat similar models like the Zephyr or the Zodiac.
So we would highly appreciate if you tell us a bit about the history of your P3!
and of course some pictures are something we all really like to see!

Ich staunte auch nicht schlecht, das es ein paar alte Deutsche Ford Modelle in GB noch gibt. Ich habe hier in Dutschland 1987 Spurstangen gesucht, der Händler hatte die mittlere nur vom RHD, komisch. Es soll in England noch ein P3 Cabriolet geben und einen P5 kenne ich.
